The Dog & Gun in Maidstone is situated just off Well Road (B2012) on the road to Boxley. The pub is on the left hand side as you drive away from Maidstone on the Boxley Road, just before you reach the junction with John Street. There’s no car park at the pub, but plenty of on-street parking is available close by.

What's on at the Dog & Gun

The epitome of the traditional community pub, The Dog and Gun is home-from-home to the locals of Maidstone’s Boxley Road.

A relaxed, friendly and unassuming place promising several well-kept ales and hearty homemade food, it serves as the hub of local entertainment too. Regular live music nights cover a range of styles from reggae to rock, while there are also karaoke and quiz nights, charity events and the opportunity to host your own private party here for up to 30 people.

The Dog and Gun is also the local home of live sport. With a big screen TV showing the latest action from the BT Sport channel, it’s the ideal pub in Maidstone to watch games with your pals and a pint.

You can also enjoy a game of pool or darts (the pub supports teams in both sports), or simply sit back and relax with a drink in the large garden - home to an extra outside bar known affectionately as the Pup and Pistol.

It all awaits just outside Maidstone town centre, ten minutes’ walk from Maidstone East station and fifteen minutes from Fremlin Walk shopping centre.
